L.O.L.E.R testing – A legal requirement under 1998 Lifting Operation Lifting Equipment Regulations.  We inspect and certify that your lifting equipment i.e. hoists & bath lifts are fit for purpose to ensure that your staff and residents are safe at all times.

Bed-rail inspection – An Medical Healthcare Authority Regulation (MHRA) requirement to ensure the safe fixture and correct operation of all bed rails

Mattress Audit – Essential Medical Supplies recommends that the manufacturers instructions on mattress care be followed. Essential can offer the following as part of a planned maintenance program or as required.

• MHRA recommends inspection to ensure mattress integrity against contamination. 
• The ‘Mount Vernon’ test ensures that the mattress structure is providing adequate resident support
• For ‘Active’ (Pressure or Dynamic) mattresses Essential Medical Supplies will test for air-loss, correct pressure, cover integrity and fitting as well as the condition of the pump.

Service and planned maintenance – Essential Medical Supplies can provided a planned maintenance service covering L.O.L.E.R, Bed Rail inspection, and Mattress Audit as a package as well as inspection of other equipment including profiling beds, slings and wheelchairs

Repairs – As a EMS customer, we can provide a full repair service subject to part availability normally within 24 hours.
